hotel Golden Sand Inn 3*, Karon, Phuket

Located right on Phuket's Karon Beach, Golden Sand Inn offers non-smoking rooms overlooking tropical gardens. This resort features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Golden Sand's rooms and bungalows are decorated in Thai style and surrounded by tropical vegetation. All rooms have cable TV and a private bathroom with shower. Guests can pamper themselves with a traditional massage or take a walk along the beach. Additionally, car rental and free parking are available. The hotel's tour desk can assist guests with travel plans and ticket purchases. Golden Sand Hotel's restaurant serves a buffet including Thai and international dishes. American and European dishes are also available for breakfast. Golden Sand Hotel is a 10-minute drive from Patong Beach and 30 km from Phuket International Airport. This is not the first hotel I've been to The most I could get to was the reception, the restaurant and my bungalow. The bungalow did turn out to be tiny as described by others. I will add only a few details, such as the location of electrical outlets. The electrician was humorous when he installed only two sockets: a television that was useless on vacation was connected to one, and the other socket was located right at the entrance by the door (there was no table or bedside table nearby). Conclusion: take a regular tee with you. The plumbing is quite good, there is always hot, even very hot water, you just need to wait until it reaches your bungalow. It remains a mystery why they made three windows per 5 square meters, probably to watch the show behind the glass in the neighboring bungalows :-). The uncomfortable plastic chairs at each bungalow will not let you sit for long. International mosquitoes will help with this. At first we fought them, spraying ourselves with all sorts of nasty things, and then we just bought coils and smoked around the area. For cleaning no complaints, they just piled up with towels for the shower and beach. Breakfast is monotonous, only noodles are changed for rice and back, but tasty. Due to the cook's lack of imagination, they had lunch and dinner in other restaurants. The main advantage of the hotel is, of course, the location, you will understand this when you see everything with your own eyes. Everything is clean, if anything is skewed, then it’s also neat :-)
