Hotel Villa Ocean View Hotel 3*, Wadduwa

I have two impressions from this hotel. On the one hand, we were accommodated in a good room (in a two-story house on the first floor, away from the buzzing laundromat and Svida on the ocean), on the other hand, it's commotion and noise. But it's okay. It was our first acquaintance with Sri Lanka, so we didn't know where to go and we went by roulette. As soon as we arrived, they immediately started settling us in (apparently they have no problems with occupancy :-). They took us to the room, showed us, I gave a tip, and he asks: Do you like the room, does everything suit you or not? I answer: All are great. And he repeats again, and so several times. How could he know that after reading reviews about hotels in Sri Lanka, we expected much worse. Then immediately went to search the Internet. You can buy a card at the reception desk and use it to access the Internet (buy it once, and then you can find a similar one in the nearest mobile phone store according to the sample). The beach near the hotel is narrow, the entrance is deep, but it is not important, there is an area for relaxing on sunbeds the fence is neatly planted with palm trees. The recreation area pleased me, palm trees create shade, badgers run, I watched a cobra try to swallow a badger, but it was frightened and it spat out this wet lump. They brought an elephant to our territory, some of them hung on the trunk. But there is also a big minus near the hotel - wedding ceremonies are held every few days. And when these events are held, the recreation area is divided by a rope into two sectors (like we are in a small house :-). On one side, a crowd of invited guests is hanging out, on the other, vacationers in swimming trunks are lying. Well, this is :-(. There are towers on the edges of the recreation area, as in the area (pun intended :-). This is especially noticeable in the evening, when the lights are turned on, and a security guard rushes here and there, and you lie on a deck chair, look at the stars and drink beer. But this is the only opportunity to be in the eyes ...
