A piece of the heritage of the Khmer Empire, a unique archaeological find is the Sdok Kak Tom temple, built in the 10th century AD. and dedicated to the god Shiva 1 point of our program. Sdok Kak Tom is one of the best original and surviving temples built of sandstone and laterite. Sdok Kak Tom once served as a place of worship for adherents of the Hindu faith. Sdok Kak Tom is also called a mini-Angkor. Phet Pu Thong Caves in Khlong Hat. We begin our ascent to a complex of caves in the rocks, which are home to thousands of bats and are located in the national park. We go to the rocks, the road is comfortable, easy, the journey to the caves takes about 5-10 minutes. The caves are hidden in tropical thickets and are naturally divided into 4 chambers. The entrance to the cave consists of creamy oval stones, and inside there are numerous stalactites, stalagmites and a large hall blown by the wind, with rays of light breaking through the walls. We've worked up an appetite and are off to the dinner! A short drive and we arrive at the Chanthaburi mountains and Khao Siwa caves to swim a long way in a mountain river right in the rocks. Tam Khao Siwa Cave is an underground kingdom with a mountain river. Surrounded by mountains there are rocky gorges, one of which has no analogues in the world. You will need to swim 400 meters underground, accompanied by a Thai instructor. Khao Soi Dao Resort Hotel. At 19:00 we have dinner and we have some free time to wander around the area and relax.
