Samed Island is a great place to relax, both for couples and families with children. Clear sea and magnificent sand. In the morning hours, you can’t leave the feeling of complete relaxation¸ as soon as sunrise occurs and the soft morning sun is not yet active and there is practically no one on the beaches. The place is very beautiful - white sand, clear, clean water, white boats - everything is perfect, just like in the picture. There are many cafes on the beach where you can have a snack. The best option is to spend a couple of days on the island, spending the night in one of the many hotels and guesthouses. On this island, one small beach is reserved for Russian speakers with two hotels of 3 and 2 stars located nearby. This is where they will bring you if you get to the island through travel agencies. Also adjacent to the “Russian beach” on the left hand are two large “Chinese beaches”. They are separated by a rocky ridge. All other beaches scattered around the island were occupied by “English-speaking” comrades. In the evening on Samet there are fire shows on the shore¸, respectively, in turn¸ on the “Chinese” and “Russian” beaches. I can note that the show on the Chinese side is larger and more enchanting than on the Russian side, which is scant (light version). Therefore, in the evening, it is better to choose the company of drunken Chinese (and they say that Russians drink a lot and act weird :-))). Naturally, there is no point in going to Samet for half a day just for an overnight stay. The cafes are different¸ but the prices are the same as in Pattaya. To get to normal shops and massage you need to walk a kilometer and a half; better along the beach - it’s faster. We chose a holiday on the island a couple of times¸ there was only positive things left¸ I recommend it to all Patois residents :-)))
