📍 Ayia Napa - Famagusta - Varosha - Salamis | 🗓 Excursion Season | 📅 28.07.2017 — 10.08.2017
Private tour: 34.5 $
We were passing through Famagusta. This building is the most noticeable (tall) in the area. We were there in the morning, there were no people. Well, what can I say, the entrance is not in the center, the best place is for a mosque, although apart from the carpet, nothing indicates that you are in a mosque. For Christians 1/5 of the territory. Thank you for saving something in general... and that’s it. We came on our own without a tour, so we spent a wonderful day in this place (with the beach right there, of course). No Wikipedia, just your imagination. For me, the ruins are very pretty :-) Although they are scattered over a fairly large area, they are connected by a road along which you can comfortably move in the shade of trees (though not everywhere). I'm not sure everything is in the right place. Take plenty of water with you... I can imagine how much it was drunk by the city’s residents over the entire period (although most likely it was wine :-) And of course, without swimming in the warm waters of Salamis, the trip will not be complete.
