tour to the post Minoan period

The real Gerani Cave is closed, so we had to find a new cave in the area (there are plenty of them here) and proclaim it: “Gerani Cave” :-) Please love and favor :-) Burials in the post-Minoan cemetery are pyramids underground. Apparently, the more noble the person buried, the deeper and larger the grave. Very original and at the same time simple structures, apparently the post-Minoan architects were very smart people. It was very convenient to visit relatives in these crypts. I don’t know if olive trees grew here in that distant time, but now they look very harmonious.
