A beautiful mangrove grove is located in Salak Kok Bay. For the convenience of tourists, concrete paths were made on concrete piles (of course, wooden paths would be better...more aesthetically pleasing¸ but in Thailand they worship “concrete” :-). There are few tourists, so no one stopped us from walking in the shade of the mangrove branches. A winding path led us to an observation tower, climbing onto which we were able to examine the surroundings (forest, mountains). It’s a pity that we had a galloping tour, so we didn’t have time to ride a boat between the mangrove branches. But the village is really fishing and really quiet...there’s not much to see. Than Mayom waterfall. Small but very nice waterfall. It doesn’t have the same pomp as, for example, Klong Plu, but you can get close to it by passing through a stormy river while holding on to a tight rope. Some, of course, fall, but this is even more fun. It is better for the sick and elderly not to come here. TRAT observation deck. A recognizable place for those who read about Koh Chang on the Internet. For those who arrive at sunset, we take a photo in reverse. I read on the Internet that you can throw a postcard into a mailbox shaped like a rocket, which will arrive at your address from Koh Chang. I found the rocket¸ but there is no place to buy a postcard¸ apparently you need to take it with you in advance. Otherwise, everything is wonderful and adds a good mood.
