walk along La Rambla

The street stretches from Plaza Cataloni to the Columbus Monument. The length is small - 1.2 km, but if you haven’t walked along it, then you haven’t been to Barcelona. In fact, there are a lot of people here and there are no attractions, except perhaps the Boqueria market. But it's like Montmarte, like Brighton Beach :-). When you find yourself here for the first time, you feel like you are among your own, the same wacky tourists :-), because the locals (well, like locals - the black indigenous population :-) are only traders. While here, you want to quickly run away into one of the many alleys so that you can already get into the crowd of other tourists. The Rambla should be treated as a ritual - IT IS A MUST :-)
