The fastest and shortest way to get to the leper island is from the village of Plaka. There are two piers from which boats depart synchronously to the island. Tickets are sold directly on the piers in both directions, so when leaving the island, the main thing is to correctly board the boat that goes in the right direction, otherwise you may sail in the wrong direction :-). The trip takes literally 10 minutes and costs 10 euros per person, it may be expensive, but there is no other way.
