Heraklion Airport (Nikos Kazantzakis), Crete

The airport has a very interesting runway that ends at the very cliff. It's cool to watch planes land from the outside. But the receiving terminal leaves much to be desired; it is hopelessly outdated and cannot cope with the flow of tourists even from one plane. The approximate waiting time at passport control is about an hour, and this is still during the Covid period, when the flow of tourists has noticeably decreased.
