mills of the Lasithi plateau, Crete

This is one of the windiest places in Crete, located at the top of the pass on the road to the Lassithi plateau. On the rocks of the mountains, old mills have been preserved in fairly good condition. A great place to see the plateau and just a bird's eye view of Crete. Sometimes you can really become a bird for a short time if you get blown away :-). It’s simply not possible to drive past, but climbing through the ruins of the mills is a pleasure. It can be seen that the mills are being restored and perhaps soon it will become a tourist mecca. Hurry up to come here to breathe real, clean mountain air, if it doesn’t blow away :-).
