Milatos Cave, Crete

The cave has a tragic history associated with the conquest of the Turks. There is not just one cave, but a cascade of caves moving from one to another. They are not big, but very cozy. In memory of the tragic history, a church was built in one of the caves. Not a tourist place at all. By all indications, they are setting it up, even lighting has been installed, but apparently Covid has stopped everything.
