Skotino Cave (St. Paraskevi), Crete

In my opinion, this is the largest cave I have ever been to. It simply amazed me not only with its size, but also with its depth. The slope in the cave created a perspective that draws you in and beckons you deeper into the darkness. It’s hard to explain, but I want to go deeper and deeper. You won't be able to go far without a powerful flashlight, but for the most crazy speliologists - welcome :-). If you look from above, you will never guess that there is a huge hole under your feet. The church of Agia Paraskevi was built above the cave, which is worth visiting and lighting a candle.
