Cataract waterfall, Crete

After walking through the archaeological site of the Temple of Hermes and Aphrodite, which is nearby, it is pleasant to walk in the shade of the trees that hang over the rocky bed of the waterfall. If you have comfortable shoes, you can go down the cascade, jumping over boulders. The waterfall is cut by a road; I believe that in the spring it will become impassable. The waterfall is unlikely to surprise you, but in the heat it will bring you coolness and refreshment.
