In the Bayahibe area, we found only two agencies with a Russian-speaking representative - this is one of them. Located on a street of bars and restaurants, it looks decent :-). But this is a case when you don’t need to meet someone based on their clothes. The problem with most agencies is that they simply resell some excursions, and naturally cannot guarantee the quality of the services provided. The excuse is so-so, of course, but the fact remains that Dominicans are not very punctual. Therefore, be prepared for various troubles, ranging from delays to disruption of the excursion program, if they were not organized by the agency itself:-(. In our case, we compensated for the disruption of the excursion program to the island of Catalina with good company, alcohol and a refund of $20, so we have no complaints. The same agencies that value their reputation simply refuse resales and sell only individually organized tours are called VIP in this agency.
