Protaras, Cyprus

The resort town for family holidays stretches for several kilometers along the Mediterranean coast. Life here begins to bustle during the holiday season, mainly on the beach (there’s nowhere for an apple to fall :-), the rest of the time it’s an unremarkable town. Since Protaras is very stretched, you have to travel by transport (bus - 3 euros, taxi - from 5 euros, rented car - from 30 euros per day)... personally, I prefer to travel by buggy in order to easily visit the most inaccessible areas (for example, a national park). Overall quite cozy, especially for families with children.
