Vajdahunyad Castle, Budapest

📍 Hungary | 🗓 Excursion Season | 📅 31.12.2020 — 03.01.2021
It’s good that something was built on this site 100 years ago (it blended organically into the landscape), because modern buildings only disfigure Budapest. Hungarians were already thinking about tourists 100 years ago :-) The first time a guide brought us here, it was very fast, because it was cold, but credit to the anonymous person :-), the second time we came here to eat before going to the baths, it was not tasty and expensive, they warmed it up in the microwave, although it looked attractive on the counter (New Year's fair, open at the entrance), the third time - we exchanged money in a souvenir shop, although the exchange rate was completely unprofitable. This place is nothing special on its own, but in combination with the ice skating rink and the fair it’s really nothing, in principle, that’s what it was built for.
