Ao Nang Beach, Krabi

📍 Thailand | 🗓 Excursion Season | 📅 16.10.2016 — 27.10.2016
For a city beach (if Ao Nang is considered a city :-) it’s very decent. Minimum amount of garbage. There are practically no people until 11 am. There are sunbeds if you go all the way to the left. Before lunch there is more than enough shade from the trees. The low tides are high, but you can go knee-deep :-) But the low tides are either in the first half or in the second half of the day. The bottom is not silt, as some people write, but very fine sand (flour). With the beach, not everything is so simple; there is a strip of white sand that is pleasant to the touch, but the rest is coarse sand with shell rock. There are stinky rivers, but one or two, no more. Plus...at different times of the day the beach takes on different shades, like the sun, clouds or sunset. Bonus - restaurants and massage. It is clear that there is nothing to do on this beach all day, but spending time at sunset with one or two bottles of beer is just the thing :-)
