Restaurant Barrio Bonito, Koh Chang

As a non-expert in Mexican cuisine, I can evaluate the restaurant only from the point of view of taste. I love spicy and hot dishes (with smoke :-). Not all the dishes here fully meet my criteria¸ but there is plenty to choose from¸ for a couple of other evenings you will have enough for tasting. In the evenings the restaurant is crowded¸ but despite this we found a free table even without a reservation. It’s very strange¸ but visitors don’t sit at the tables for a long time¸ it’s very noisy and not cozy. The order is delivered almost at lightning speed; you eat it and want to leave quickly. Thanks to this, tables are freed up very quickly¸ in Thai restaurants we usually wait quite a long time. I have no complaints about the food, but I do have complaints about the atmosphere. Although for the restaurant owners, a large turnover of visitors during the evening is only a plus.
