Turtle Beach, Hikkaduwa

📍 Sri Lanka | 🗓 Beach Season | 📅 10.04.2015 — 21.04.2015
Hikkaduwa Central Beach. This has its pros and cons. First, about the minuses, there are a lot of people, and I'm talking about the locals, especially on weekends and holidays. Packers in fours are lying on matchans in their territory. But what pleases me are the palm trees that create numerous shadows. And here again about the bad - these are sand bugs, they love the shade and your blood (maybe it's only in April). Loud music from locals, but this is a plus for everyone. Before lunch, a crowd of excursions to large turtles (on the plus side, for them for money, for you for free:-). From a good point, a wonderful sunset, pleasant sand, a quiet flood. The waves crash against the reef, where you can go snorkeling. We rented a traditional boat for $15 (and the rental price on the beach itself is the lowest, where the boats on the right break up to $30). 150-200 coconuts are distributed. Don't take it, by the road - 100 each. There are many restaurants in the district where you can take a break from midges :-). In the evening, beautiful sunsets, especially beautiful against the background of clouds, but that's just luck :-)
