Nangwi village, Zanzibar island

A colorful village in African style. At first it’s shocking, it looks like a slum, but then you get used to it, you see smiling residents and you relax. It looks wild to us, but the locals seem quite happy. You can get lost in the labyrinths of the village, so it’s better not to meddle here in the dark, but take a walk in the evening when the heat subsides - the best thing to do is buy local fruit and drink alcohol from bags (a local attraction). In the evening, you can also watch local teenagers play football, and the girls organize their own team separately.
