And again we vacationed in Protaras, in another hotel, but we couldn’t get around this restaurant, for old times’ sake. The owner still has the show-off attitude (a new silver SUV has appeared), he still sits with his friends in the evenings, the same waitress speaks a little Russian (only there is more sadness in his eyes). This is something that did not surprise us. Now about the bad: the owner completely stopped paying attention to the guests; before, he would come up at least once a night and ask if everything was okay (a small thing, but nice). And most importantly, the live music that used to flow throughout the area and attract guests has disappeared. And in the restaurant I didn’t hear the slurping of my neighbors, but I lounged on a chair, drinking wine, and enjoyed the music. We could sit like this for a very long time, having drained a decanter of wine, or even more. Now the romance, mood and desire to return to this place have disappeared.
