Baboo Lounge Beach bar, Crete

We often came here after lunch to lie down, smoke a hookah, and drink drinks. There are no people in the bar at this time, only lonely Greeks meet. The music is really unobtrusive, if only it were even quieter :-) (we tried to look for sound holes :-). Not many people take sunbeds - 10 euros with towels. This place is a dead end (there is a rock on the right), so people don’t wander around. And the bar looks very chic, so there is no chanthrope around. Prices are above average. One day some DJ was playing - it was a total joke. I thought the membranes would break off :-) (I’m probably too old for this :-). The entrance to the water from the bar is super, fine sand. The service is unobtrusive, they took the order and didn’t bother me anymore. There are a lot of places, for every taste and in any position:-)
For those who don’t go to the beach in the morning to grab a sunbed, this is the place for you. At any time of the day you can drop your bones :-). There is no clear water and waves here (at least there were in early August), no debris was noticed, only torn off algae, the further to the right the bigger the waves, this is due to the flat bottom. We tested the far right side of the beach at the La Vida Loca bar almost every day. They have 10 euros for sun loungers and towels, but I don’t see the point in taking them, because there are a lot of chic locations in the bar itself (hookah, juices, cocktails). The entry into the water from the bar is gorgeous, the bottom is the finest sand without stones. Music is constantly playing (sometimes too loud, so stay away from the speakers). On Saturday and Sunday evenings it is full of locals, but there are plenty of places.
