With an ideal location and facilities to match, Dickwella Resort hits the spot in many ways. We got into this hotel by accident in January 2014. We were accommodated here as our hotel was overbooked. And I will tell you what it is were the best 1.5 days of our vacation. The hotel is located in the very south of the island in a cove with a wonderful sandy beach. On the opposite side of the bay are the remains of a coral reef (once it must have looked very beautiful). Two-story houses are organically scattered over the territory, they are connected by paths under canopies. This place is made for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to newlyweds or just tourists for the first days after their arrival - very relaxing. But it definitely also gets boring quickly, because the hotel is very far from civilization (shops, restaurants, bars, parties). A hotel for Europeans, but definitely not for Russians (the temperament is not the same). The hotel is not cheap, so I cannot recommend it one hundred percent, but surely someone will like it.
